The Front Office Executive is the face of the resort, responsible for creating an exceptional first impression for guests. This role involves managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring seamless coordination with other departments to deliver a delightful guest experience. The ideal candidate is warm, professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, embodying the resort’s commitment to superior service. As the first point of contact for guests, the Front Office Executive plays a key role in upholding the resort’s reputation for excellence and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-In and Check-Out:
- Handle guest arrivals and departures efficiently while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor.
- Manage the check-in/check-out process, including room allocation and key handovers.
- Guest Relations:
- Act as the first point of contact for guests, addressing their queries, concerns, and requests promptly.
- Ensure exceptional service standards to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle VIP guests and special requests with utmost professionalism.
- Reservations Management:
- Manage room bookings and coordinate with the reservations team to ensure accurate records.
- Assist walk-in guests and handle last-minute bookings when necessary.
- Communication:
- Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, F&B, maintenance) to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain effective communication channels with the team and escalate issues as required.
- Cash Handling and Reporting:
- Process payments accurately, including cash, card, and other payment methods.
- Maintain proper records of transactions and generate daily revenue reports.
- Problem Solving:
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive reputation for the resort.
- Provide alternative solutions when required, ensuring guest satisfaction.

- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain front office supplies and equipment.
- Update guest profiles and records in the property management system (PMS).
- Hospitality Standards:
- Adhere to luxury resort service standards and promote a welcoming environment.
- Uphold the brand image through impeccable grooming and professional behavior.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in luxury resorts or hotels.
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, IDS, or equivalent).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Multitasking and time management in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
